Acceptance checks
- The screen is named clearly and its address is recorded.
- The player belongs to the correct cinema/venue.
- Today's sessions, cancellation rules and Coming Soon policy are verified.
- Posters and trailers have downloaded and are correct.
- Ratings, orientation and session text are readable.
- At least one complete playback cycle has been observed.
- Advertising works and test intervals have been restored.
- URL pages load, fit and animate while displayed.
- Every follower has its intended local layout and advertising settings.
- Clock synchronization is correct where matching screens are required.
- A real boot opens Cinema Sign.
- Display sleep/wake works with the actual television.
- Enough free storage remains for normal operation.
- App log persistence is normally Off; installer diagnostic settings are understood.
- Any system disk-logging change has been checked after a reboot.
- Staff know the daily checks and how to report a fault.
After a programme or campaign change
Check the import or saved record, then Playback/Up Next, then the physical television. If you used a short test interval, return it to the normal value. Give incoming staff the title, time and purpose of any deliberate temporary setting.
Do not write passwords or API keys on a public screen record. Keep them in the cinema's normal secure account records.
