Pair the authoritative EDID fingerprint with available manufacturer, model, serial, manufacture date and physical-size details.
Layered identity
Use authenticated HDCP for DDL1, enrolled EDID fingerprints for DDL2, and authenticated receiver identity/topology for hardware-qualified DDL3.
Two-year activity history
Signed-in Authority users can review authorization, enrollment and removal history—including player serial, requested/achieved level and display identity—for 730 days.
SDI DCP playback uses a separate DDL1 policy and refuses DDL2/DDL3 requests. SDI does not implement HDCP on the wire; EAR’s default authenticated-HDCP requirement remains in force. Qualify the permitted media/output combination with the content owner.
